So I am probably not allowed to distribute them. I have a small collection of tools for setting and entering the password onĤ of the most used controllers, unfortunately these are proprietary products So, the contents can not be accessed with a hex-editor or other sector-tools. If implemented correctly it is very effective as the controller simply blocks access to the NAND until correct password is entered. Unfortunately it's often hard to find the software needed to set it up Nearly ALL flash-drive controllers support passwordsīecause they support the ATA-security functions , They just want a "simple" password-protection so their kids or other cyber-punksĬan't just start their mail-client and read the mail etc etc. They are not requesting military-grade encryption or the like, It is totally off-topic, IT ISN'T WHAT THEY ARE ASKING FOR. I presume I could backdown my PA Platform install to 26.1 or something, but then I am concerned that none of the applications will update. Will people please stop suggesting TC to people who just The Linux box has not updated Remmina or Linux during the time that these PA Platform updates were issued. I know, "oddball values", but they get me the most "screen space" within the RDP display window. Windows reports the screen resolution as 1400x1052. on that Windows box other than the PA Platform and it's applications. Windows 7 x86-64 with all available public updates. The flicker appeared around Platform release 26.3.1 or 26.3 When I access the Windows box using Remmina I now see flicker IN the Portables Platform GUI when I run the mouse pointer over that GUI in any direction within that GUI. Windows 7 even runs the MS "rdpclip" program no Windows changes are needed to use Remmina. Remmina is a RDP client and connects to a Windows box just like any Windows RDP session. I use "remmina" on Linux Debian 12 to access an old Windows 7 box that has some applications that cannot or were never upgraded to support later Windows version.
